 the UN defines sustainability as “meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs” (1987 UN Commission). The more basic definition is the ability to be maintained at a certain rate or level, this can be applied to anything from  environmental resources to social equity.  

We are getting down to business. We have roadside clean ups, creating inclusive community spaces in areas of need, proposals for eliminating homelessness in King County. Engaging with the community and partnering with other local NPOs and sustainability heroes to teach and ease the way for sustainability in your neighborhood and communities. Creating an all organic raised bed farm to provide healthy foods for the community, our first steps in making Phoenix Farms a reality, and SO much more. Yes! at this time, we are a volunteer based organization. Meaning we have zero paid members, and 90% operations and supplies are donated or recycled. We deeply appreciate those who wish to help support sustainability, and welcome you to contact us for more information on where you would like to volunteer and complete the required sign up.

4) Financial donations are always helpful. Any monies donated to PRP are used 100% toward the NPO and current projects. We can even give you a breakdown of how your funds will be used. Tax Receipts coming soon!
